Samuel Kwok reveals how he came to be involved with the first Ip Man movie. How did a Wing Chun teacher in the UK become involved in promoting Ip Man and Wing Chun? What did Sammo Hung say when he heard Samuel Kwok taught the stunt team? Why are there no high kicks in the film? What is his daily training regime? What’s big projects are next? How did he get to teach Guro Dan Inosanto? What part of the Wing Chun syllabus did Inosanto want to learn? How has he been promoting Ip Man 4?

Samuel Kwok was born in Hong Kong in April 6th, 1948, the son of a Church Minister. Having now retired from the NHS he is a full time martial arts instructor and teaches Wing Chun around the world.
His interest in the martial arts started at an early age, his first experience was in White Crane Kung Fu, under the guidance of his uncle Luk Chi Fu. His Wing Chun training first started in 1967 under Chan Wai Ling in Hong Kong.

Ip Man 4 continues the biographical martial arts film with Donnie Yen reprising his role as the Wing Chun grandmaster Ip Man.as he has done in three previous films. The movie is directed by Wilson Yip, produced by Raymond Wong and Written by Edmond Wong, who all return from the previous instalments to helm this movie. Producer Raymond Wong said he paid Yen “a hefty amount of money” to return for the fourth film. Principal photography began in April 2018, and ended that July. Filming locations included China, and Preston, Lancashire, England.

With Donnie in this movie is the British action actor Scott Adkins and Danny Chan as Bruce Lee, who has been a Bruce Lee fan since childhood. Danny Chan has been lucky enough to play his idol in Shaolin Soccer, Legend of Bruce Lee TV series and Ip Man 3, this is due to his reemblance to Bruce Lee, also he is trained in Bruce’s method of fighting Jeet Kune Do. It also features action actors Chris Collins and the awesome, powerful Mark Strange.
