Synopsis: A faded TV actor and his stunt double strive to achieve fame and success in the film industry during the final years of Hollywood’s Golden Age in 1969 Los Angeles.
Bruce Lee is back in action in Tarantino’s new movie It seems that these days any big film with martial arts in it is not truly complete unless Bruce Lee appears in it, this is the case for Donnie Yen’s Ip Man 4 and for Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time In Hollywood.
In this new trailer, we see Bruce in action played by Mike Moh against Brad Pitt’s character. Mo has appeared on television in “Empire” and “Inhumans,” in which he played Triton. Starring as Lee is a lifelong achievement for Mo. Back in 2015, he recorded his own video tribute to Lee in honour of the Lee. Mo is stated in saying, “He has been an inspiration to me and so many others around the world,” Moh wrote at the beginning of the video. “He transcended ethnicity; he showed us how amazing it is to be a part of the human race.”
The film stars Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio as a famous television actor and his long-time friend and stuntman, and is set in 1969 Los Angeles. The two men try to break into the Hollywood movie business around the same time of Sharon Tate’s murder.
Sony is set to release “Hollywood” in theatre’s July 26, 2019.
The film features the iconic Luke Perry, who shot to fame in Beverley Hills 90210, who tragically died in March 2019. RIP
