Synopsis
Waking up with a gunshot wound, a mysterious man (Yoon Kye-Sang, Golden Slumber, The Outlaws) has no memory of who he is or where he came from, but soon finds himself transported into someone else’s body every twelve hours. Confused and hunted down at every turn, it’s a race against the clock as he pieces together clues about his identity and any connection between the seemingly random body-swaps he is experiencing.
From the producers of The Gangster, the Cop, the Devil and The Outlaws, Spiritwalker is an action-packed and unforgettable thriller, written and directed by Yoon Jae-Keun (Heartbeat).
Production Notes
Spiritwalker proved to be an enormous hit at film festivals all over the world, including the London East Asia Film Festival, Sitges Film Festival, where it won Best Film, and the New York Asian Film Festival where it earned the Daniel A. Craft Award for Excellence in Action Cinema.
A Hollywood remake is already in the works from Transformers and G. I. Joe producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura who said, “Spiritwalker is one of the most innovative action films with unexpected action sequences that I’ve seen in a few years. I’m so excited to produce the remake of this unique film.”
