The news is out; the image of actor James Dean (an actor Bruce Lee hugely admired) is going to appear in a new film inspite of being dead for decades. The visual effects CGI world can seemingly create the impossible.

This is old news in the Jun Fan world as we have already seen Bruce Lee recreated for a Chinese TV commercial. The team behind the advert were remarkably effective at creating a life-like image and voice to promote Johnnie Walker Blue Label whiskey. The commercial was made under the direction of Joseph Kahn with scenes shot in Hong Kong. It took nine months of CGI work by the visual FX Company, The Mill, to perfect the image of Bruce Lee. According to the director, every detail of his face was created using CGI. In order to truly capture the image and spirit of Bruce Lee, creators called for the help and guidance of Shannon Lee to ensure they perfectly reproduce his image, appearance and expressions.

Although when film producers proposed creating a CGI Bruce for the popular Ip Man series of movies Shannon embargoed them.

Now with this new revelation, the thought must be on every Bruce Lee appreciators lips, Will Bruce be back in action on the Big Screen and will it do him Justice?
